Reitz Lawn Master Plan

The Reitz Lawn Master Plan lays out a long range approach for improving the overall function and quality of this important campus green space. The following is a list of the major goals and objectives for the Reitz Lawn.
Improve pedestrian and bicycle circulation throughout the lawn by widening major sidewalks as multi-purpose pathways.
Restrict vehicle access to the Lawn to reduce damage and emphasize pedestrian safety.
Preserve and protect the central Lawn area as a large cohesive open space with beautiful views of the surrounding buildings and landscape.
Provide more opportunities for seating, gathering and meeting throughout the Lawn.
Relocate the Bloodmobile off the lawn and into the parking area east of the Hub.
Provide a prominent and elevated terminus to the east end of the Lawn at Marston Library.
