The City of Tarpon Springs asked David Conner + Associates to renovate a section of the Pinellas Trail and design a fitness park for the nearby community. Located on Safford Avenue between downtown Tarpon Springs and Live Oak Boulevard, the North Safford Avenue Recreation Corridor is a safe place for walking, jogging, skating, and biking.
The park includes outdoor fitness equipment, a group exercise lawn, walking trails, and a play area. The Pinellas Trail and streetscape renovations include new sidewalks and landscape enhancements improving walkability throughout the community.
