David Conner + Associates Projects Nominated for AIA People’s Choice Awards

Hough Hall Honored with AIA Masonry Award

DCA would like to congratulate Rowe Architects Incorporated on the announcement that William R. Hough Hall will be honored with the 2014 AIA Florida Merit Award for Masonry from The Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects.  We are proud to have been on the team for this project. Hough Hall will be featured in the fall edition of the Florida/Caribbean Architect magazine.

DAVID CONNER + ASSOCIATES JOINS BOHLIN CYWINSKI JACKSON FOR FSU EOAS PROJECT

David Conner + Associates is pleased to announce our selection with the Bohlin Cywinski Jackson Architectural Team as Landscape Architect for on the new Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (EOAS) Building at Florida State University. Formed through the merger of the Departments of Geological Sciences, Oceanography and Meteorology, the new EOAS Department is intended to enhance teaching and research across the geosciences.  The project will provide space for classroom/teaching labs, study, research labs, administrative offices, and academic support for this new university department.

Bohlin Cywinski Jackson has received more than 575 regional, national and international design awards, including three AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE) Top Ten Green Projects.  The firm is recognized for elegant and humane design, ranging from modest houses to large academic, civic, cultural, commercial and corporate buildings.  Previous architectural projects include the Apple Store, Fifth Avenue, NY; Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville, California; the Barn at Fallingwater; and Nu Skin Innovation Center in Provo, Utah.
